Biography
Tom is a freelance performer, teacher and maker based out of Glasgow. His interest and experience covers a wide range of disciplines, including improvisation, disability arts, dance, theatre and film, both in performance and education contexts. In his own work headed On The Stage Of The Present, he focusses on inter art form improvisation as a specific interest and way of furthering understanding of the meaning of ‘stage craft’. He has taught internationally, including a recent spell in Germany.
Since joining Smallpetitklein in October 2009 Tom has performed in two programmes, Still (2010) and Falling Man (2011) and has performed with the company at the Royal Opera House in London, Cunningham Theatre in New York and as part of the Edinburgh Fringe 2011.
Tom became Rehearsal Director with Smallpetitklein in 2011.
