Smallpetitklein Youth Dance Company

Our youth dance company provides an opportunity for gifted and talented young people between the age of 12 and 19 to work with a professional dance company.  The youth dance company is offered as part of the

Re: Move Project in partnership with ON at Fife.

The company meet every week to create and rehearse work for performance at events across Scotland, including curtain raiser performances for Smallpetitklein and community events.  Participants will benefit from working with 2 of our Dance Workshop Leaders, who can respond to the needs of the company, allowing development. There is also the opportunity to work with Smallpetitklein’s Artistic Director, Thomas Small and our professional dancers.

Participants can improve their technical, choreographic and performance skills.  Participants don’t need lots of dance experience to join, just enthusiasm and commitment.

The company focus on contemporary technique and choreography. Participants will explore a range of themes through the repertoire of Smallpetitklein and choreographic tasks, whilst working on their performance skills.

Smallpetitklein Youth Dance Company meets every Friday in Dunfermline.  To keep up to date with the latest news or to register your interest in the Youth Dance Company, please contact:
