Biography

Born in Grimsby, UK.  Chloe started her training at The Arts Educational School (2000-2005).  After which she moved to London gaining a professional diploma in dance studies (PDDS) at Laban (2006).

Her other main interest is art, in particular painting.  Non-professionally Chloe has featured in various BBC dance documentaries (2003), at Shaftesbury Theatre (2004) and has toured with a project titled ‘Reach for Dance’ throughout hospitals and care homes in the UK (2004/5).

Chloe was a member of Transitions Dance Company 2006/2007. She was fortunate to gain the experience of working with a range of worldwide boundary breaking choreographers.  Pablo Ventura worked closely with computer software and machine like technology.  She also worked with Henri Oguike, reconstructing his work ‘Brightside’ as well as Christian Duarte, Azsure Barton, and Jenni Kivela.

Since leaving Transitions, Chloe has worked on a project at Derby Dance with choreographer Candida Elton.  This was a duet that interacted dance film with city buildings.

Chloe started her work with Smallpetitklein in October 2007 with a research and development project in Barking where the company is in residence.
